In 1988, Bill & Barry didn't have any recording seesions at all. The 3 songs from that listed for that year were all basic tracks produced by Barry for other singers, including "Angels Don't Really Fly," a co-composition by Bill and Dwight Hobbes, which was recorded for Dwight.
From January, 1989, until the end of 1991, they only recorded 9 song. A stark contrast to the amount of work they did from 1981 & 1982.
What does become clear in this volume is how well they adapted to creating relevant arrangements and productions for the time period, and knowing when to refrain from over production. Half of the songs on this album are simple rock tunes with no orchestration. The beauty and complexity of the orchestrations on the other songs is a sign of things to come. Bill & Barry produced recordings as good as any in the mainstream through the early 2000's.
It is with great pride and pleasure that we present the entire Bill & Barry collection, digitally remixed.
