In 1992, Bill Kern bought a 6 track porta-studio to record demos at home. Even though Bill & Barry hadn't been recording at the same pace that they did in the early 1980's, Bill's songwriting hadn't slowed down. Among the demos that Bill recorded, "Better Off," "Amsterdam," "Sins Of The Father," "Lonely Man," and "Remember Me" are included here.
"Remember Me" was completely re-recorded on 16-track, and orchestrated by Barry. It was also completed in a single session. "Lonely Man" is the original track made by Bill with orchestration added by Barry.
These recordings made by Bill on his 6-track porta-studio were mixed in the main studio, with all the studio processors available to them. The quality is quite good.
Barry's songs, "What We Had Planned," Don't Ask Me To Wait," I Don't Think I can Love You Anymore," and "So Long Ago," were recorded by Barry as demos on 16-track, and worked on over time.
The only songs on this volume actually recorded together with both Bill & Barry are "Remember Me," "A Little Place,""Lionels Around My Christmas Tree," and "Now Until Eternity."
It is with great pride and pleasure that we present the entire Bill & Barry collection, digitally remixed.
