As we are nearing the end of the Bill Kern & Barry Knoedl catalog of songs recorded before Bill's death at the end of 2005, Barry began reviewing songs that had never been recorded. In fact, some of these songs remained unfinished until work began on this project.
BOUND BY LOVE and I JUST WANT TO BE WITH YOU were originally written as a follow-up single to BABY DON'T GIVE UP. A photo session even took place for a possible picture sleeve for this record.

Barry plays all the instruments on this album, with the exception of PLEASE COME TO ME. Kelly Perkins plays the guitars on this track. This song was written by Barry in 1974, and the lyrics were completed by Bill Kern at the very beginning of their partnership.
Also included on this album is a re-imagining of I JUST WANT TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, the original B side to BABY DON'T GIVE UP.
