The Badbeats worked on an LP from 1978 through 1981, but it
was never released until 2023. HERE ARE THE BADBEATS! contains 11 Lennon/McCartney songs that were not released by The Beatles. The one song on this album that The Beatles did release, I'LL GET YOU, appeared as the 'B' side of SHE LOVES YOU in both England and the US. It only appeared on an album in the US on THE BEATLES SECOND ALBUM in 1964. In England it didn't appear on an album until 1978, when RARITIES was released.
We released a second Badbeats album in late 2023, THE BADBEATS AGAIN containing more cover songs by other songwriters.

Barry no longer operates his
recording studio (Kno Studio) commercially. In the past, he has worked with many other artists, including
Jimi Lalumia & The Psycotic Frogs, Zacherley, Neck Tie Party, and The
Thunderbirds to name a few.
Barry is now a retired vocal music and
theatre teacher. He taught at a high school on Long Island, N.Y. He wrote many vocal
arrangements for his vocal jazz choir. He is currently living in Texas.
Bill Kern was murdered in
his video store 12/28/2005. Bill & Barry's last recording session was
8/25/2005.
Over the years, Bill & Barry recorded close to 200 songs. Bill & Barry released a Christmas CD
in 1994 of all original Christmas songs. Since Bill's death, we have worked on restoring and completing the many recordings Bill & Barry made.
Beginning in 2018, we began releasing these songs on 8 albums containing 108 songs in all. All the albums have a "heart" themed title. HEARTSTRINGS; HEARTACHE; HEARTFELT; HEARTLESS; HEARTSICK; HEARTBURN; HEART ATTACK; and HEARTBEAT. Check these out on our CD catalog page.
